Sweet heat never tasted so good. These Bee Sting Honey Cayenne Wings are coated in Dam Spice Co.'s Bee Sting Seasoning — a bold blend of honey powder, brown sugar, and cayenne that caramelizes into a sticky, crispy, mouthwatering crust. Perfect for game day, backyard grilling, or any night you want something seriously good.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drums
- 3 tablespoons Dam Spice Co. Bee Sting Seasoning, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prep the wings: Pat the wings completely dry with paper towels — this is key for crispy skin. Toss with olive oil and 2 tablespoons of Bee Sting Seasoning until evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the fridge.
-
Cook the wings:
- Oven: Preheat to 425°F. Place wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Grill: Grill over medium-high heat for 20 to 25 minutes, turning frequently, until cooked through and charred at the edges.
- Air fryer: Cook at 400°F for 20 to 22 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Make the glaze: While the wings cook, whisk together melted butter, honey, hot sauce, and remaining 1 tablespoon Bee Sting Seasoning.
- Glaze and finish: Toss the hot wings in the glaze immediately after cooking. Let sit for 2 minutes to set.
- Serve: Plate with celery, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and a cold drink. Enjoy immediately!
Tips
- Extra crispy: Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder to the dry rub — it draws out moisture for an ultra-crispy skin.
- Turn up the heat: Add an extra teaspoon of Bee Sting to the glaze for more kick.
- Also great on: Salmon, pork ribs, roasted cauliflower, or popcorn.
Pick up your Bee Sting Seasoning and make wings night unforgettable.
